    ODL's Supporters

Over the Years, ODL has supported many other organizations and institutions working in or for Haiti (specially Lascahobas; see ODL's accomplishments ).  But ODL has also received and hope to continue receiving logistical and material supports from other corporations, organizations and individuals.  Listed below are corporations and people that had so far helped ODL one way or another:

    PYB foundation. (Canada)
Pierre Yves Bélizaire Foundation has made a tremendous contribution to the library project in Lascahobas.  Claude Bélizaire, chairman of the foundation, has provided, on perpetual loan, hundreds of books to the Municipal Library of Lascahobas via ODL.  The terms and conditions of that loan requires that the library remains a non profit library offering free access to the general public.
Let send a big THANK YOU to Claude Bélizaire of PYB Inc.

    American Airlines. (USA/NY)
American airlines greatly helped ODL by providing free shipment to a load of 22 cartons of books and equipment that the organization was sending to Lascahobas.  Was not this helping hand from American Airlines it would have cost ODL over one thousand dollars for the transport.  American Airlines has proven that they are not only "Something Special in the Air" but also "Something even more special in the Lands where they land".
Again, Thank You to Mr. Horace Hord Jr.of American Airline.

A pair of airline tickets, to any destination in the Caribbean, was donated for raffle to ODL by American Airlines.  The drawing for a winner will take place at ODL annual fundraising dance on March 28, 1998. (See ODL's news for more details).
Once more American Airlines proves to be an invaluable supporter of ODL.

    Individuals.
There are also members of ODL that have made tremendous contributions, financial and otherwise, to ODL; but they have declined to have their names and the nature or scope of their contributions made public.   They prefer to remain anonymous.   We respect their wishes as we say to them: Forever THANKS!
